APPRAISEMENT AND SIGNIFICANT FEATURES IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CONCEPT OF “WISDOM” (BASED ON THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

Abstract

Introduction. Significant and appreciable features are investigated in the structure of the concept of “wisdom” of English language in this paper. The examples show the differences assessing of the features of the concept “wisdom” in the conceptual structures, as well as in the analyzed samples of the concept are commonly used types of evaluation. Purpose. The purpose of this article is to identify the distinctive features of significant events and assessments in the construction concept “wisdom” in the English language. Methods. This article contains analysis and synthesis, structural and semantic, lexical and semantic, contextual and comparative methods. Results. In English the wisdom is perceived as human property. The concept of “wisdom” of the English language is more active detected among the important features of the concept of “ownership”. The concept of ‘wisdom” is perceived as a significant phenomenon in the conceptual picture of the world of English speakers. Originality. For the tested concept of “wisdom” in English the highest rate of consumption is observed in the intellectual assessment. This is due to the fact that different intellectual abilities of people are on the basis of the quality of wisdom.
